Friday, October 30, 2009 7 P.M. Halloween Extra! This event begins with a "Tour of the Orchestra" Cañada College Main Theatre 4200 Farm Hill Blvd, Redwood City Gounod: Funeral March for a Marionette Mussorgsky: Night on Bald Mountain Rodriguez: A Colorful Symphony   with Valerie Sarfaty, narrator Hayman: Pops Hoedown Kids and adults alike can wear costumes to this concert of spooky musical treats. The event begins with a "Tour of the Orchestra," where you'll see and hear all the instruments demonstrated. Night on Bald Mountain is a Halloween favorite. And A Colorful Symphony is based on an episode from Norton Juster's children's classic, The Phantom Tollbooth, in which Milo discovers an orchestra that accompanies the sunrise, sunset, and everything in between!
