Carmen - Sell Tickets!
-Peter Stahl

The Carmen show is a different kind of concert for us, one with perhaps much broader appeal than our usual instrumental-only shows. So orchestra members should not be shy about approaching friends, neighbors, co-workers about buying tickets for Carmen. This is going to be a marvelous show, with great drama and great music. The soloists are flat-out terrific, and of course we'll have the dulcet tones of KDFC's Bill O'Connell narrating the action. The time to start mentioning this concert to everyone you know is now.

Any Singers?

If anyone knows of experienced singers who would like to join the chorus for this concert, please have them contact choir conductor Nile Norton. The rehearsal schedule is as follows:

Nile's phone is 408-970-0419. Prospective choristers should be able to make all rehearsals (or be willing to negotiate with Nile). Ability to sight-sing in French desirable.

Family Concert

Our summer family concert will be on Sunday, July 28. Rehearsals are tentatively planned for July 10, 17, 19, 24 and 27. Well be doing music from the latest Disney movie and lots of other kids' favorites. This concert is a real blast to perform, so mark your calendars!
