We're often a few stands short each week at Hillsdale, especially when doing works for large orchestra. If possible, you might want to think about keeping an extra stand in your car so you'll have it with you.
You may already know that our rehearsal schedule is available to Palm and PocketPC handheld users via a free web service provided by Avantgo. (If not, you can find details here.) But did you know that you may also be able to view the schedule on your cell phone? If you have the if you have a phone with internet access and a web browsers, just download the following page: www.redwoodsymphony.org/avantgo And if your phone allows you to store web pages, you'll always have our schedule with you!

For each concert, we print 1500 color postcards. About 1200 of these are sent to folks on our postal mailing list. The remaining cards are distributed to orchestra members, etc. so you can hand them out to your friends, coworkers, the cable guy, etc.
Since the cards are fairly small, however, they're perhaps not well-suited for posting on a bulletin board or hanging in a window. So I've also been providing 100 "old-style" 8½" x 11" photocopied fliers, and I make the filer available for downloading as well. But almost none of these appear to be taken by orchestra members. (I don't track how many copies are downloaded.) So...
I'd like some input on which of the following three options I should pursue:
We will continue to provide the color postcards in any case, of course.
Act I: 1, 3, 4, 10, 12, 13, 19-21 (played as a single span)
Act II: 22, 32-36 (played as a single span)
Concerto No. 2: 1, 5 (Allegro ma non troppo), and 4 (Largo)
Concerto No. 3: Final two movements (3/4 and 12/8).
