Eugene is happily ensconced here now at the parents of Steve D'Andrea (thanks to Vince and Shirley D'Andrea!), and has requested a change in the order of the program, so here is the order for Sunday:

Williams: Jurassic Park Suite (No instrumentation at this time)
Menken: Suite from Hercules (Woodwinds's in threes with standard doublings, 4 hrns, 3 trpts, 3 bones, tuba, timp, drum set, 3 or 4 percussion, harp, synthesizer, elec. guitar, elec. bass, strings)

Rehearsals

Three Wednesday rehearsals at College of San Mateo (Cañada is having asbestos renovation)
7:30 - 10:00 P.M.; dress and concert at Spangenberg Theatre in Palo Alto.
The program is still being assembled, so this schedule is sketchy.

July 9 Probably Hercules first at 7:30, followed by works in order of decreasing orchestration
July 16 Same as July 9
July 23 Same as July 9
Saturday, July 26

Summer Rehearsal Parking

Tom Diskin has arranged for rehearsals and parking at the College of San Mateo for our summer concert. Rehearsals will take place in the Band Room, which is Room 100 in Bldg. 2. Best parking is in Lot #2. There is a stairway between Bldgs. 3 and 4 which allows access to the Fine Arts Amphitheater area. Room 100 is in the northeast corner of the quad.
