If you have not completed a registration form and paid your $24, please do so today. Make checks out to "Redwood Symphony" (cash is ok too) and deliver to Richard Steinberg (clarinet). Give your completed forms to Claudia (violin).
The concerto competition for next season will held in March or April of next year (date not available yet). If you're interested, please inform Eric of your concerto choice as soon as possible. As you know, this season's winners, Stephen Ruppenthal and Doug McCracken, will perform the Hindemith concerto for trumpet and bassoon at our November 22nd concert.

Don't forget about the season subscription contest. In order to win, you must sell at least three season subscriptions. Season subscriptions are a good way for people to show their support for the orchestra. Subscribers may or may not come to all of the concerts, but they want to make sure they have voiced their support for the kind of music we perform and who we are as a group.
Here are the prizes:
Redwood Symphony performances are more exciting every year. Help people support all of the hard work that we are putting into this group.

Our season brochures have been sent to the folks on our mailing list, and a large number were given out at rehearsal last week. (Thanks for all the positive feedback!) Unfortunately, it looks like we'll run out of the brochures pretty soon. Since printing additional copies would be prohibitively expensive, I am now designing a simple 11"×17" poster which can be produced inexpensively. It will be available soon.
This is a Web version of text from the newsletter "Redwood Symphony Notepad" which is distributed to members of the Redwood Symphony at rehearsals. The newsletter and this online version are edited by George Yefchak.
