Sunday, November 22 Concert
We could use one more chamber work (less than twenty minutes duration) for this season's Chamber Music concert, to be held January 31, 1999. We're restricting participation in the chamber works to RWS members only.
Prices for our CDs were listed incorrectly in the Handbook, which says that all CDs are available to orchestra members for $10. While the Stravinsky CDs are $10, the two new ones are $15 . We apologize for the error.
Despite this small error, please pick up your copy of the RWS Handbook as soon as possible if you don't already have one. (And...please buy a CD too!)
Season tickets are still available, now at the pro-rated price of $40. This includes free coffee at each concert, and free admission to one concert for a guest.
The concerto competition for next season will held on February 2, 1999. If you're interested, please talk to Eric as soon as possible.
We need one person to staff a table with our brochures and CDs during the upcoming Family Concert on Sunday October 18. The volunteer can bring his/her children/friend's kids/nieces & nephews for free to a wonderful concert featuring On the Trail, Rhapsody in Blue, West Side Story Suite and a Disney medley. Please contact Eric or Valerie at 650-366-6872.
