Student's Conducting Session

We have a voluntary reading session of various repertoire for Eric's College of Notre Dame conducting students on Sunday, April 30 from 1 to 4 P.M. either on stage or in the band room. We will be using music in the Caņada music library, so you can expect Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, etc.

Your participation is appreciated!

Notes on Next Season

Goals for next season are twofold:

We'll definitely be back to our usual fare in 2001-02.

Two selections are earmarked for our next CD. From now on, we'll be doing a CD every two years, so our recording schedule will be less hectic.

Our 2000-2001 Season.

Concert Recordings Coming Soon

--Tom Diskin

After a lapse of several months, I can once again make concert recordings available to orchestra members. Through the generosity of the Redwood Symphony board, we now have a CD Recorder available. I currently have CDs for all performances through the Chamber Music concert on January 29, 2000, with the exception of the two concerts in Fall of 1999. I plan to get those in the very near future.

Although I am not currently playing in the orchestra due to work schedule conflicts, I will be stopping by every other week or so to pick up and drop off orders. The system will work much as it did before: you may prepay your order or simply place the order via phone or e-mail with me and I will collect the money when I give you your CD. The cost per CD is $5.

To place an order, call me at 650-747-1542 or e-mail me at trdiskin@pacbell.net.
