See here.
We're
sorry to report that Eugene Fodor will not be with us tonight, due to the
impending death of his father. Our rehearsal schedules
(tonight's and Saturday's) have been adjusted accordingly.
This concert marks Fodor's third appearance with Redwood Symphony.

Those
of you who own Palm or Windows CE handheld computers can now check our rehearsal
schedule right from your device! If you have a wireless modem, you can get the
data from anywhere; otherwise, it will be downloaded whenever you synch your
handheld with your PC.
This is achieved by software from AvantGo Corporation. To use it, go to www.avantgo.com and download the program. (It's free!) Then go to our web site and click on the Backstage link (at the bottom-right corner of our front page). Just below our rehearsal schedule, you'll see a link for the AvantGo channel subscription. Click on it. From then on, each time you synch your handheld with your PC, our latest schedule will be copied to your device!
This entire process is free to you (and to the orchestra). The only "cost" involved is that I must maintain one additional file on our web server.
Pretty cool, huh? ![]()
Hi Redwood Symphony:
I've been asked to try to get a 42 piece orchestra together for six performances, three previews and five rehearsals of Siegfried, the complete Wagner opera, to be performed at McAteer High School in San Francisco in late July / early August of 2000.
There could possibly be some money involved, but it would be mostly carfare. I would really appreciate some names and numbers, as I'm new here in the area. The performance dates are 7/30, 8/2, 5, 12, & 19 at 6 P.M. and 8/20 at 2 P.M. Rehearsals and previews are yet to be determined but will be in the evenings.
Many thanks,
Bruce Dorcy650-738-1086
