Attendance for Next Set

As you know, the next concert is for chamber orchestra. This will probably become a regular feature for our second concert of each season because (1) Schedule-wise, it's much easier to have a set with fewer rehearsals, and Eric believes that smaller groups facilitate this, and (2) For those of you who complain about the furious pace of our season, this could be a welcome opportunity to have a vacation without any penalty. Oh yes, and (3) many of us enjoy the opportunity to do this kind of repertoire!

Since we will use somewhat reduced strings, Eric asks for any string players who are not planning to play this set to please contact him (not Floyd) ASAP to let me know. We'd like similar numbers to what we're using for Don Giovanni: 10 firsts, 10 seconds, 8 violas (all of you!), 6 cellos and 3 or 4 basses. Any orchestra member who doesn't contact Eric will be assumed to be playing this set. Acting Members should let Eric know if they are available to play. We hope to be able to use everyone who wants to play. Please don't assume that you're unneeded or unwanted; ask if you're not sure!

Because of the small number of rehearsals, and the recording session of, we're asking that absences be kept to a minimum: none, if possible, but no more than one. And we need everyone for the last two rehearsals.
