Chamber Music Needed

Maestro Kujawsky is taking suggestions for works to be performed at the June 1 Chamber Concert. If you're interested in performing something, please contact Eric. If it's a new or unfamiliar work, please provide a recording if possible.

We are also interested in featuring very short chamber works (three-minute or less) as part of our regular orchestra concerts. If you have something in mind for this, please talk to Eric.

Orchestra Party

We have a BIG orchestra party on Sunday, September 22, at Ann Walker's house/back yard. Flyers and maps are available from Ann (violin) at rehearsal.

Please RSVP to Ann at rehearsal, or call/e-mail her. More info is available at the orchestra's web site (“Backstage” page). For security reasons, the phone number, address, and map are not available online.

Here's the schedule:

Schedule in the Palm of Your Hand ... Sometimes

--George Yefchak

If you own a Palm or other PDA, you can download our rehearsal schedule directly to your device for free. You'll need to install a small program from AvantGo. Complete instructions are available online at www.redwoodsymphony.com.

Unfortunately, however, this free service is available only for a small number of users per internet domain. Since lots of orchestra members sign in through AOL, all available slots for the .aol domain are taken. Needless to say, the orchestra will not pay the several thousand dollars required for unlimited access. Sorry.

This is a Web version of text from the newsletter "Redwood Symphony Notepad" which is distributed to members of the Redwood Symphony at rehearsals. The newsletter and this online version are edited by George Yefchak.
