Discount Tickets for
Symphony San Jose Silicon Valley

Symphony San Jose Silicon Valley would like to extend an invitation to you and you families to come and hear "America's Newest Symphony" at a special rate. SSJSV now offers greatly reduced prices to Bay Area musicians playing in local ensembles.

Here's how it works:

  1. Go to the following web address:
    sjsvperformances.org/corp/welcome.asp?ID=bam
The website is called a "corporate" site for BAY AREA MUSICIANS because the program was initially set up for certain companies.
  2. Read the info and follow the directions; call the box office at 408-288-2800.
  3. State "I'm ordering according to your corporate web page and I am from "Bay Area Musicians."

Please note there is not a link from the main SSJSV web site, so you will need the specific address given above.

SSJSV is offering us the same deep discount normally provided to groups of 40 or more. Similar discounts are available for Ballet San Jose Silicon Valley.

The next SSJSV concert will be held on March 1st. It features Karen Tanaka's Guardian Angel, Beethoven's Symphony No. 8, and Sibelius's Symphony No. 2.

Wind, Brass, and Percussion Subs

It is vitally important that you find a sub if you must miss a rehearsal. Contact Eric or Orchestra Manager Joan Hebert (clarinet) for names and numbers if you need help.

Fliers on the Web

Our concert flier is available on our web site, in the Backstage area. (The file is in Acrobat PDF file format). If you don't have an official printed copy handy, feel free to print your own or e-mail the file to prospective audience members.

Concert Recordings

Our concerts are usually recorded, and copies can be purchased on CD by orchestra members. Please see our web site's Backstage area for information and an online order form. Recordings cost $5 if the concert fits on one CD, or $10 if it requires two.

Program Deadlines
